Default tranny experts need your advice!

ok here is my problem, I am putting b16 gears in ls y80 casing everything is in there correct. However i noticed that when i **** the synchro sleeve on the mainshaft to 4th gear as far up as it will go with my hand that it will rub a tiny tiny bit against the countershaft 4th gear. When i put the casing and everything back toegether will it shift the contershaft up a little fixing this? I mean it barley touches it and that was just when i used my hand to hold it all the way up ?

Once the countershaft seats in the snap ring at the top of the case, it should 'hang' a little higher in the case. I would double-check the assembly of the mainshaft though, just to be sure everything is on the way it should be.
