what does this part do?
part #5 i think, or six (the plastic housing inside the cap of the distributor behind the rotor)
i accidentally broke it and ended up taking it off...do i need it or am i okay to just leave it out?
part should be right underneath------------------------------------------here

it looks like all it would really do is keep wires and such away from the rotor so you might be ok without it... but as a rule of thumb honda pry would put it there just for the hell of it... hopefully one of the electrical nuts will jump on this one otherwise i'd say pony up a couple bucks and order one. good luck!
I have no idea if it is ok or not, but I have run with out it for a long time. I am sure it is to keep the rotor/cap/current from coming into contact with the wires in the distributor. The air inside the distributor cap can become charged, so this probably helps sheild the wires, and sensors in the distributor from damage..
