kyb agx
ok so i decided i'm going to get H&R sport springs and KYB AGX's. Can someone give me some more info about the lifetime warranty that the agx's have? One problem though...i haven't seen agx's for a 2001 Integra yet...all i see is 94-00. Do they even make then for 2001 integras?
the suspension in the 2001 integra is the exact same as the 94-00 models so they will fit guaranteed.
i believe the lifetime warranty only applies when using regular springs (not coil-over sleeves) and if you do not lower more than 2".
ask your retailer about the warranty details.

ok...2 people have told me the agx's for the 2001 integra is the same as 94-00...are u guys SURE???? i just wanna make sure b4 i buy them. thanks. oh and...about h&r sport springs..i've heard that the back sits higher than the front. Any recommendations of other springs that would go good with agx's and lowers only 1.5"-2"??

here's my integra with h&r sports with AGX shocks. back is higher but i think most springs have that .25" difference (dont know why though)
and yes 2001 is same as 94-00. only type r rear shocks are different.
overall, i'm very satisfied with my setup

What i was told, is that the AGXs have progressive valving. SO basically once the shock is compressed half way (or whatever it is), it will automatically stiffen slightly. Of course i've never cut one open so i have no idea how true this is.
Its been a long time, but i seem to remember this info coming from KYB.
I ran AGXs for a few years with various drop springs, 2.5 and 1.75. Now with stock springs. Never had a problem.

so I emailed KYB to ask them about 2001 Integra agx shocks...here is the guy's reply....At the present time, we do not offer shocks for this vehicle.
Possibly later in the year or 2004. Will know in about a month. Are you guys sure the 94-00 shocks can be used on a 01? Does anyone here have a 2001 integra with 94-00 KYB AGX shocks? I dunno what to do now....but i just got my H&R sport springs toady, now all i need are my shocks.

Yes the 94-00 Integra AGX's will bolt up with no problem to your '01. They are the same vehicle. If you look on your spring box, what does it say. It probably says '94-'00 or '94-'01. At the shop I used to work at we've installed quite a few spring/shock combos on the '01 and there were no differences between those and the older 3rd gens.
