Default Question about thermostat temps...

I installed a Spoon thermostat last night ( about 1 am ) and noticed that on the one that was in there it said 78 degrees C. What does that mean? That's when it opens? I thought that the factory ones open about 90 C. Was it an after market one?

Yes the number indicates at which temp the thermosat opens...

Spoon = aftermarket

were you really expecting OEM settings from the spoon thermostat?
