Default jdm gsr block/ si head

i was trying to get info on another board, thought id give it a try here...
im thinking about going with a gsr block/si head... the first plan was
to see if i just kept it all gsr and went with ctr pistons/cams, would i run
into any valve clearance problems and also compression???
but now im thinking about if i keep my stock pistons(10.6), and go with
spoon or mugen head gasket and ctr cams, what will the compression be raised
to and what kinda of hp can i get out of this... this motor will be in a ls teg..
i've seen one kid with a set-up close to this running mid 13's... he had the basic bolt-ons.
b18c1 block
b16a head
itr manifold,intake valves,cams,ecu
ctr pistons
comptech airfilter
pyr cam gears
portflow inner springs&retainers
2 1/4 custom exhaust
hi flow cat
nos fpr
my set-up would be almost the same, but stock 10.6 pistons
with mugen or spoon head gasket, ctr cams itr/portflow valvetrain and jdm 4-1 header/hi-cat...
if possible help me out...

Your set up will be pretty nice. I recommend ITR pistons. Slightly higher comp. but its up to you. Good Luck

i was thinking going with the jdm itr pistons, the jdm gsr pistons
which i have now have the same compression as us itr pistons... and being that im on a budget
i was just seening which headgasket out there can raise the most compression... plus i would still have to get
the ctr cams, valvetrain, ecu chipped, jdm header&t-body bored... trying to save money, plus i really just want the car
set-up for raod racing. all-mota cars for drag are a waste of time if you dont have the money to spend... you might as well
just go turbo(imo)... i love all-mota, my goal is only low-mid 13's all-mota. and i know with this set-up you can get pretty far and still have a reliable car... i'll put together a few shopping list with piston/and without plus above parts..
