Intermittent rev drop and stall while stationary (B16A2)
Hi,
I am experiencing an intermittent fault irrespective of whether the engine is hot or cold. While starting the engine, occasionally the revs will drop off and the engine stops. If I try to restart the engine, it either won’t start at all or it will start and then immediately stall. After numerous tries it will eventually start and run completely normally. This problem only occurs while the car is stationary. The car also doesn’t show any warning signs or fault codes. Does anyone know what the problem could be and any possible remedies?
Thank you,

These symptoms sound familiar, I can't remember what this is related to though.. I think it's related to something like a solenoid going bad, damn I'm really sorry but I can't remember what it was. The description of the problem went something like "for the most part you'll not be able to start your engine when X fails, but sometimes you are able to run it, only to have it die a few minutes later".
Following items that come to mind (though I'm not sure if these are it) Coils, distributor, some electric/electronic device
