Default intermediate shaft modification?

ok guys heres the deal i got 91 ef hatch and an ls/vtec, b16 cable trany and a welded diff.

I got 2 intermediate shafts. 1 with the male and one with the female end.
the male end mounts to the block fine and is straight.
the female end one doesnt quite line up right if i grind down some on the mounting side of it i could make it fit to some degree.

The thing is i would like to run the same cv shafts on both sides. cause with a welded diff i kno theyll break eventually and i could just keep rotating them out through the part store under warranty.

i guess my real question is. is that offset pitch going to put more wear on the diff where the shaft goes in. and is the pitch going to hurt my axle anymore for not being directly straight.

i kno some people have done this before just havent heard any aftermath from it.

Both intermediate shafts should slide rite in with no modifications.Just get the right shaft.I have swapped back and forth and they always just slipped rite in.

they slide in the tranny fine but on the bolt side of the shafts

one tries to hug the block too much and to get the bolts to go in i would have to shave part of the shaft. the bottom bolt hole is hitting the shaft and leaving a 1" gap or so for the top bolt to go in. if i force the bolt in looks like it puts the shaft on an angle and could put the tranny in somewhat of a bind.

but the other shaft goes in no problem. i can set the 2 shafts side by side and see the noticeable difference. bolt holes sit bout 1/2-1" further away so when i line it up it sits flush on the block. kinda hard to explain i might try and get pictures later or just shave it and part of the block to make it work.

Like I say they should both slide rite in and bolt rite up.Something is wrong with the female one you have.If that's the type you want to use just about anyone would swap you one for the male shaft one.You can buy a female style for about $50 almost anywhere.

i think the female one is for an automatic and that could be why the pitch would be different.
