IMO you should just get an intake tube and a big K&N cylinder-type truck filter. Both can be found at most parts stores. You'll end up with a high quality filter, unlike many intake systems available and if you get a big one, it should last almost forever. I had a normal sized cone K&N for the first couple years I had my Del Sol and it wore out to the point that even after cleaning it was still restrictive. I bought the biggest replacement I could fit under the hood and it's now lasted about 8yrs. If you want cold air later on, I'd suggest adding a vent in front of the filter with either a water trap or a removable cover.
