Default Installing new diff, how do I get the bearings off the old one

Yo

I destroyed the stock diff in my B16 tranny,

I'm in the middle of swapping out the diffs with a stock used one,

How do I get the bearings off the old diff to put on the new diff?? Do I need some kind of press?

What are the torque specs for the black bolts that hold on the ring gear?

Thanks in advance,

-A

When I converted to a Quafe, I used a press to get the old bearings and speedo gear off. (dealing with a YS1)

What I found is that the bearings are not on that tight, but the metal speedo gear was.

I'd recommend that if you don't have access to a press, just find a shop that rebuilds rear-ends (domestic) and have them do the work. It doesn't take much time.

By the metal speedo gear, you mean the big one that goes around the diff right?
