installing motor mount inserts
So I've read several different threads and tutorials etc. etc. Some of them say to hold the engine up by the oil pan and some say this is horrible. I'm think that it should be ok to use the oil pan since two of the motor mounts will always be on at any given time. I guess my question is, when removing a motor mount, how should the engine be held up? Should I just put a jack under the oil pan or what?
*obviously I know you shouldn't do this when jacking up the car... but it seems there wouldn't really be that much weight on it if you were only pulling one motor mount at a time

if you got the inserts for the torque mounts, then you dont need to hold the engine; just take them off one by one.
if you need to take off the 2 main mounts make sure you put a block of wood in the middle of the jack/ oil pan
