injector leak.
ive been noticeing lately that around the bottom hole under 1 injector on my skunk2 intake manifold there has been gasoline. and brown residew from the fuel burning on the intake mani..
so i went to honda and got a injector seal kit and replaced them all, put stuff back together and tested... still a leak from the same upper injector seal.. the fuel is literally running down the injector onto the manifold. do u think the aem fuel rail is messed up? i do not have a stock one to test or i would... and u know how the back of the fuel rail has 3 bolts holding it down... well 2 of the holes are pretty stripped. but the bolts still hold down tight enough so that i can shake the fuel rail and not have it move at all.
thanks.

couldnt think of propper lube to use.. what should i use? like oil or sumthing thick? also i was told that the screens on the top of the injector get clogged up with junk and cause this to happen.
The screen on top has nothign to do with the injector leaking, it only prevents juice from coming through the injector. If its clogged it will pass the injector.
I used some spray oil, just to get it nice and slick.

Use "dry lube(spay)", in fact a small amount of hand soap will do the job an rubber O rings.
be careful not to use oil or gasoline, the O-rings will/can expand and you will have trouble mounting your rail.

Oil isnt that bad, NBR hydraulic o-rings withstand oils. Gasoline makes them expand, but it doesnt happen instantly, so no problem there.

The Orings is supposed to expand when applyed with gasoline, but All Im saying is dont use any petrolated fluids prior assembly, if they expand while you are mounting the rail you will have increased your chance of damaging your O-rings.
I dont care about any hydraulic what so ever, the only thing Im saying that is within topic is how to mount them the easyest way with the propper lubricant.
