individual throttlebodies and stroking
Is there a big advantage to running individual throttlebodies?? And is what exactly is stroking, ie what parts do you need, does it help torque or hp or both and is it worth it?
individual throttle bodies mean each cylinder gets its own throttle body, they all dont have to draw from one throttle body.Stroking means increasing the stroke/throw of the crank. If an engine (b16a) normally has a 77mm stroke and you stroke it to 89mm.Your increasing the total stroke or "stroking it" by nearly 12mm,meaning the crank now throws nearly 6 more mm up and 6 more down.
To stroke an engine, you need a crank with more stroke, and either custom pistons, customs rods or both. When you increase the stroke, the piston will now stick out of the block if you dont use custom/aftermarket piston and/or rods.

LS crank...there are 2 different setups for the LS cranked b16a block...1 is using b16a size rods(stock or aftermarket)with custom pistons you can order from any pistons manufacturer..or use the tech43 pistons and use LS size rods that need to be rebushed.
