I'm screwed!! NEED HELP!!!
I just drove over to my girls house and I noticed a clicking sound from my rear right tire. When I accellerate a little hard or let of the gas right away and the car starts slowing down... thats when I hear the clicking sound. Anyone know the problem? Is it my suspension? My rear drums? My rims? Its making me very nervous cause I have to take a 30 min drive home soon. I dont want to drive and have the wheel fall off or something. Should I take it to the shop right away in the morning? Any suggestions? I'm getting paranoid!!! HELP ME SOMEONE!!
make sure ur wheel is tight, take ur wheel off and check around, if u go to a shop saying u "hear a noise" ur gonna get fucked. **** if I worked at a shop and some kid came in there sayint I hear I noise, Id rob the **** out of them.
Sounds like its coming from the rear? But might it be coming from the front? There is a piece of metal where the stock intake used to be and I think it is possibly rubbing against my AEM intake? Maybe thats why when I slow down and the engine shifts it might be rubbing against it causing a clicking sound? I bent the piece of metal out of the way and will be making a test drive after I have dinner. If anyone every made this noobie mistake please let me know.

I once had that happen to me once. It turned out to be one of those clamp on wheel weights that had worked its way loose and was hitting something one every revolution. It made the clicking sound and when I pushed it hard the centrifugal force must have thrown it off because there was a loud thump in the wheelwell. I checked out my car and sure enough there was a mark on the rim where the wheel weight was. Just went to get that one tire rebalanced and all was good.
So you think its one of the weights? Its still making noise. I'm definitly sure it has to do with the wheels and not the car itself. Shocks and struts are still in good shape. Anyone else have any suggestions?
jack up the car with the wheel on, and try moving the tire forward and backward, and in and out, and see if there is any play. play should be minimal.
