Default how to use plastigage?

I see in the helms manual it tells you you use plastigage but it doesnt tell how to use it?

u take the plastic guage and cut it into strips the same length as the main bearings going parralell with the block...like if u had the block sideways and ur looking down on it on the stand run the guage left to right.......____________.i hope u get the picture...the bolt ur main caps on and torque them down to spec...then pull off the main caps and use the supplied guage to measure how far the guage was flattened...this will give youyour clearences...pick up an actuall honda manual to see the right way to do it....good luck...
