Ignition upgrade question.
I hate to support a domestic company that has jumped on the import bandwagon too but, I had someexperience with the Holley ignitions systems in school and they're pretty good. They offer a lot of adjustability and are in the right price range.
This is my 420th post, so Im gonna go smoke a FAT one.

I recommend MSD for the ignition box and something most people don't think about, but its really good is J&S Safeguard. I have been recommending it alot lately. JandSsafeguard.com

well you don't really need all that though. if your not running boost the external coil distributer cap from msd ought to suit your needs just fine. it replaces the stock (shitty) internal-coiled dist.cap with one that allows the use of an external coil. it costs about 20-40 bucks plus the coil 20-50.
the safeguard thing that this guy linked to is something TOTALLY different from the msd boxes the other guys recomened (which are all great but highly un-neccisary unless your running boost)
what it does is
1. uses and individual coil PER CYLINDER (our distributers have an internal coil most good systems use a single external coil (like the msd thing i talk about above, and then SUPER COOL CARS use individual coil packs per cyl. there are many benifits to this)
2. senses knock to adjust the timing (this if F'king great cuz my car (93 ex) doesn't even have a knock sensor. this allows you to run advanced timing safely. the computer advances the timing to a certain point and if it hears the engin knock(ping) it retards the timing (which usually stops the pinging)
It looks like a good system but unless your boosted it's overkill
