Default MSD ignition question

anyone running a MSD modified dist. cap with an external coil (blaster coil) without the MSD ignition box?

would this even make a difference?

i'm running a 6a-l and blaster2 coil on my lude. didn't notice much anything

really? didnt really help out huh? i thought it would help out more on a turbocharged car. i guess what they say is right... the stock ignition is always sufficient enough. but that daym 6btm feature comes in handy though.
