idle problem
i have a 92 cx with a jspec SIR2 swap , its not holding a constent idle it jumps from 1500 to 3000 rpms. i checked the IAC/TPS/MAP and all the vacum lines and theres nothing wrong i even swapped all the censors with ones i have laying around . i figured id ask here and see if anybody had any insight, ive been racking my brains for a couple days trying to figre it out. the only thing that ever works is putting the car in gear and letting the clutch out and putting load on the motor for a minute with the brake up , sometimes after doing that it will idle fine for a while. thanks in advance.

what does that procedure consist of..pulling a hose off the thermo housing..and let some coolant out?

what, my idea isnt good enough for you?
92civeg: you loosen the nut on top of the thermostat and let bubbles out until there's just a steady stream of coolant coming out, then tighten the nut.
