Default idle low.... TB too big?

Would having too big of a TB cause the idle to be too low because of air velocity? My setup is in signature. TB is 66mm.

No. If anything, too big of a TB would cause high idle. Play with the bleeder screw and adjust the idle up a bit.

So even with the idle screw wound right up it's still too low?

when you change the idle you have to jump the computer too. No vacuum leaks perhaps tell us what you have first on your car that you modified. THat would help ya know.

Well I installed a Skunk 2 Intake manifold on my B16 and a 66MM TB. With my OEm TB it idles fine but when I installed the 66 once the care is warmed up the idle is jumps from 500 to about 400~450 at idle. It doesnt shut off but it does make the car shake alot.

I would just deal with the bad idle.

My car idles like a bag. Lots of moderately modd'ed cars do.
