Default hytech header leaking

i installed the hytech header last week and it was leaking. not where the cat is but where the 4 pipes slide together. i bought some muffler sealent and that did not work. right now im gonna try tiger patch and jb weld. i know that welding it would fix the whole problem but if i weld it i wont be able to install it back on. so does anyone else have the same problem and how did you fix it. what do you guys think.

for those who have the same problem and dont have access to a welder. buy jb weld and put it on. let it sit for a couple hours and it works. i fixed the leak with it and it hold nice and strong.

jb weld will melt right off, its only rated for 6-700*f. Your header gets into the 1500* range

How is the header going to get hotter than the exhaust gasses themselves?!

Some people don't have a clue. Aluminum starts to melt at a little over 1200*

The point where he says it's leaking isn't the hottest part of the header anyway.
