Default header problem

i hit a big bump n notice that my dohc 4-1 headers had a big dent on the bottom of them ..my car is picking up slow n i think the dent is blocking the air flow..do u guys think it's better to get a whole new header or can i just take the header to the shop n cut the dent out n weld a new pipe back on? would the weldding give the same performance?

thanks

buy a new header, but if you want to cut and weld it then it would be the same as long as the inner surface where the weld is, is smooth

yea, make sure you have them sand the inner part if you get it welded cause god knows you'll lose 20 horses if you have little welds inside. very restrictive shiet.
