Anaerobic-type sealant......

Default Anaerobic-type sealant......

Putting my cams back in....calls for this. I searched and found 1 thread....Is it true you can use RTV for the bearing caps? I don't want to use the wrong goo and fucup

you jsut need assembly lube for the bearing caps dont use RTV you will **** up biig time. Any good assembly lube should do the trick.

I understand what to use for the lobes and journals- The manual says "Apply anerobic-type sealant to the cylinder head contact surfaces of bearing caps 1 and 5 and install"

So don't use oem gray at these points?

yes that is correct they are where the seals go they keep them in place use hondabond style sealent
