im currently working on a EG race chasis and i have the stock DX Car harness and im trying to figure out how to make my own check engine light because i am not running a stock OEM cluster anymore........can anyone help me figure out which wire is it and what kind of light do i need for that???

 

the cel wire is a13 i think

 

Yep, its A13
Green and Orange wire

 

a13 puts the signal to ground, so run 12v+ to one side of the light and the other side goes to a13

 

so u mean run a separate power to one wire and the other wire goes to A13..???? im confuse.....

 

any diagram on this????

 

if you go buy a light button like a switch but has a light insted one side will be for 12v+ run that off any ignition on 12v+ near were your putting light
from the other side of the light run this wire to A13 on the ecu harness
