Default no check engine light

When i turn the key to the on position there is no cel light. I have switched the bulb with a know working one and still got nothing. The light worked once then when i tried again i got nothing at all. Thanks for any help.

Check the green wire with the orange stripe at the ECU, it is the grounding signal for the bulb to light. If you jump it to ground the bulb should light.

okay jumped that wire to the ground and got nothing still no light. Just to get the setup out there its a obd1 h22 into a 92 civic hatch cx.

Does that wire have 12v to it when you check it with a volt meter? If not there is a break in the wire or the circuit of the bulb.

Okay i was checking the wrong wire. After getting the right wire, i checked it with the volt meter and got 10.4 volts. I think it was low because of the battery was almost dead. I dont have anything to try to jump it with so i will try that tomorrow. So where do i go from here. Thanks for any help

Okay i have now jumped it to the ground, and the check engine light does come on. So what does this mean and where do i go from here. Any help from anybody would be appreciated

If the circuit works up to the ECU then Im afrais something in the ECU is bad, or the ECU is not getting power from the Main relay.
