Hondata question
Not sure I'm posting this in the right forum, but I'll give it a shot...
I'm running the "old" Hondata stage 4b system. When I ran it with my old setup (99 Civic Si, JRSC) everything worked great. I put a new motor in my car & ran it without the Hondata & without the JRSC. I never made any changes as far as the Hondata went. I never uninstalled it, I just disconnected it. I decided to get the Hondata up & running again with my new setup (JDM SiR-II swap, no boost). The Hondata itself is working great, but there's two problems: 1) The clutch switch is not working so the launch doesn't work. I put my car in gear, engage the clutch, & floor the accelerator. The revs should bounce at around 3000 RPMs, but instead it revs normally. 2) The LED shift light in the dash isn't working. When we spliced it into the wires on the ecu, it didn't work. We tried several different wires & it would either make the light stay on constantly or blink constantly instead of being off & blinking when I'm supposed to shift.
I know all the wires are hooked up correctly because everything worked the first time it was running & nothing has changed since then. Anyone have any ideas what the problem could be? Could the clutch switch be bad? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
