Default hollowing out the cat

btu who here has punched out there catalitic converter.....anything i should watch out, ive herd the metals in there arent good to come into contact with

???

i punched out mine b4. didnt like it. too loud and raspy.

had to buy a new cat ........now i am agian.

if you are gonna do that why dont you just get a test pipe.

hint: you can learn from other peoples mistakes

Hallowing out the cat isn't going to help performance, in fact it will probably hurt performance.

The exhaust will open up at the cat area, which upsets the flow. Straight pipes are not very expensive, just pick one up.

gutting the cat gains nothing. It is still a choke point.
