Putting emissions aside for the monent (heres my opinion). When running forced induction on cars especially turbos, they hate back presure. Ive heard of people gaining up to 40 horses just by freeing up the exhaust (open down pipe vs. stock exhaust). So by removing your cat and putting a free flowing exhaust you should notice a gain in horsepower.

Ya, it smells really bad. I get paranoid when cops on motorcycles drive by me.

Do you really smell it while driving? Is there much of a difference between no cat and a 3" carsound cat?

Personally, I will be running cats on both of my turbo cars. On the street that is At the track it's open dump. I'm willing to sacrafice some street ponies to be green, and full power should only be used at the track anyway...riiiight
