Vehicle-95 Civic DX w/ D15B7 engine, 5 spd. 280K original miles.....2nd time in a month, upon acceleration, momentarily died, check engine light came on, 4-5 alarm beeps and then engine came back on. This occured in approx. 2-3 seconds at most. According to Honda Service Manual, 1st edition, 1995, section 11, pgs. 32-33, I jumped 2p service check connector, turned ignition on to read DTCcode.............Check engine light stays on but the
SRS dash light blinks continuously. If I follow the ECM trouble shooting flow chart on pgs. 11-42 thru 11-43 I get stuck @ the "need test harness #07LAJ-PT3010A" to complete tests.
Honda sells this harness for $700 +/-. Is there an after mkt harness available??? or do you think I may have an SRS problem, hence the flashing SRS red light when I jump 2P????
Also went to section 23-pgs 312 thru 340 to troubleshoot SRS system, but got lost in the code reading flow charts since there are no DTC codes to read (the check engine light stays on
when I jump 2P)
