check system engine warning light
as car warms up engine warning light comes on a dash and stays like that even if i turn off and turn the engine back on however after driving back home with light on when i turn ff engine and after few hours i start the engine up engine warning light is off

It may be a scheduled maintainence reminder - if you still have your owners manual, check for the recommended service mileage chart and see if it coincides with your cars mileage when the service light issue started.

Find the nearest AutoZone, Napa, etc, and ask them to read your check engine light codes. That will give you a better sense of the issue.
