Help! Took dizzy off and can't put it back on because...
I forgot to look at which way the rotor was pointing when i took it off. I was still only on a half cup of coffee when i took it off so hammerhead on me
Obviously, it can only go on 2 ways, one being right and one being wrong. How can I tell which way to have the rotor face when i re-install it? This is on my jdm h22a, I took the dizzy off because i am not getting spark and I need to possibly replace cap/rotor/ignitor/coil.

the distributor will only go on one way. The camshaft has a slot for the distributor to fit in, and the slot is not in the center of the cam, it is offset so that you can't get the timing 180 degrees out.
If it looks like you have the slot in the camshaft and the rotor drive of the dist lined up and it still won't fit, try giving the rotor a 1/2 turn and then try putting it on again.
