Help!!!! Crank angle sensor code wont rev over 3k

I just replaced my pistons and rods in my B16 2nd gen, code #4. crank angle sensor. tried a different dist and same prob. Any suggestions?

well, i marked my dizzy b4 i took it off.. so timing should be good.. i also rotated the crank several times and the cams are dead on..
Even swapped my bro's gsr dizzy too, and I still get the code 4..

Remember the signal leads from the 3 sensors are shielded, at least for some years. So if anybody tried splicing things, check to see if the lead is shorted to the shield.

It turns out my ECU is F'ed up, NO good anymore..
I took my ECU and swapped it in my brothers gsr.. and got the same code 4.. when i put his ecu back in, there was no code.. THat right there proved to me that the ecu is fried..
This really sucks.. now i have to find me another ECU and rechipp it for hondata..

</TD></TR></TABLE>Just for grins, check out the harness sockets on the ECU. Just to rule out a bent or broken pin where the harness plugs in. Maybe you can fix something like that?
