HELP!!!

Default HELP!!!

i went to change my ecu in my dohc zc today and when i put the new one in it wouldnt work....i reset it and everything but it still wouldnt work so i put the old one back in and it wouldnt work either.....there is no spark coming from the distributor so could that have just went bad then???? i need some advice.....thanks.

Ive seen it happen before. Ive been told that it happens because the "new" ECUs circuit was shorted previously causing one of the sensors in the dist to take a crap........or you didnt disconnect the negative terminal while switching ECUs and somehow shorted it that way. Sucks man.

so do you think that a new distributor would solve the problem because the old one was all messed up anyway?????? could anything else be wrong for it not to start up???

Try to check all the fuses too. Its possible that sometime in the ECU swap one blew.

NEVER change an ECU with Battery terminal connected!!

what happens if the terminal is connected??? what do i need to do to fix it or what do i need to buy? if anyone has AIM, IM on icantpassenglish.....thanks

I could damage the ECU!!! If you just blow a fuse you are lucky. Just don't do it!!!
