Default ECU help?

I have a 1992 Civic LX and when I do a computer check, my engine light just stays on and doesn't blink at all. I think that means a code 0 (faulty ECU) but not sure. My problem for checking the computer is it won't start up but it just turns over but won't fire. I've checked all distributor components but they are all in working order. I have no idea to what the problem can be so could someone please help me out.

Also, my ecu smells like rotten eggs or something spells burnt.

The reason for checking the distributor is because it is not getting any spark at the plugs, and the fuel pump does'nt work with the ignition key "ON". (the pump and relay are good)

Open the ecu up and look for any burn spots on the board. Any burnt spots, theres your problem.
