HEEEEEEEEELP!!!!!! Throttle is sticking, what can I do?
Ok, I just got my car back last night after waiting for a few weeks for my built block to go in. It has an Edelbrock Victor X manifold and a Holley 68mm TB. I drove it two days ago and the throttle stuck REALLY BAD, I mean to the point that the gas pedal was hard to depress, and when it would give it would rev the car to 5 grand. The bad thing is my throttle cable is on the last two threads on the TB side because the position of the manifold is much lower than the stock one. I can't tighten it anymore because of this either. In fact the throttle cable goes down at a slight angle to the TB. Yes I know that the TB is brand new and the spring is very taught, but this **** isn't right. Not only is the throttle hard to depress, but when I let off the gas it sometimes sticks between 1500-2000k RPM, so I have to hit the gas quick and rev the car up to get it to go down to a reasonable rpm. Any ideas? Anything I can do to fix? I need help ASAP because I am tired of killing my car or revving it to 5k. Damn thing only has 120 miles on the new motor. HELP!!!!

your throttle cable is binding or sticking inside the shealth causing it not to release the TB and idle right. either lube up the cable with silcone spray ior just get another cable which they are pretty cheap. It costs me $10 at a honda junkyard.
