Default headlights out..........

my 98 civic headlights are out.....they are the projector headlights and the side corner lights are on, but the high n low beams are completely OUT. went to the mechanic and he says that its sumthin to do with the wiring electrical.....he would have to take sometime to see where the problem is. he says it aint the bulbs.........i took the car cuz i needed it that day and would come back later on.
I am bout to go back tomorrow, but i was wondering what it could be and where to locate it so i can save some $.......someone help me out. (i hope this is readable)

when you say out, do you mean they just won't shine? and you've checked to make sure all fuses are good and the bulbs are not burnt out? all that you can do is retrace the wiring and possibly see if you've lost a connection somewhere.

I think that it could possible be a blown relay. You have two of them on the headlight harness. They are like black box things. There should be two of them. I would try replacing them I beleive they are only like 6 bucks a piece. But I couldn't tell you for sure.

bro take the harness off and just take the connector from the headlamp and connect it to the harness from the car. i got angel eyes projectors on my car and it came wit a big *** harness. i didnt even use it. and i had my projectors on for a yr wit no problems. try it that way maybe it works

so it could be a harness problem as well?.....cuz the projectors have one big harness that when connected connects to both high n low beams.....so i dunno.
i think i will be adding city lights to it shortly as well if i have to get them to check my headlight prob, mite as well add the citylights

i would try the headlights witout using the harness. take the connector from the headlamps and connect it directly to the connector from the car. by the way what is the brand of headlights. are they called denji? if it is take the wire harness out cuz u dont need it.

think you got fucked.. probably just a fuse or something.. headlight harnesses usually don't go bad unless you burned the f$ck out of it.
