water pump has about 30,000 miles on it, i replaced it 2 years ago.
the shaft turns freely, bearing is good.. no shaft play at all.

i've been trying to get my motor tuned after installing the prepped head i finnished building. (port/polish, crower dual valve springs, crower titanium retainers, 3 angle valve job, JG cams, AEM gears)

i've been struggling with my timing belt. trying to get the crank set right and the cams. etc..

i had just bolted everything together after tightening my timing belt tensioner. and took at short test drive around my apartment.. i think i was doing 3k rpm when it came off, but, i had been reving it earlier trying to see how the motor was running.

ARRGGGHHHH!!!!! this is soo frustrating. now i gotta get a new water pump, and install it, and who knows if i damaged my valves yet.. i wont know till i get the new pump on and can turn the motor over.

i'm venting now..

My water pump went up yesterday. Left me stranded at work, was not happy.

 

it just sux because i may have bent a valve
