my car died so i pull of and i pull the cap on the diss. and the four metal "pegs" where all gone they had been shaved off. metal flakes everywhere. so i think man. so i buy a new cap and put it on and it fires up. but i hear this noise and its the diss. i pull the cap and its starting to eat thoses thing again. So i driv e home and try to figure it out but i have no idea ohhh and theres oil inside the cap too. and code 15 is flashing.. what can it be.

see if the shaft that holds the rotor has any play, if it does then you need a new
distributor
