yes, you can interchange the pistons, but if your gonna do that, I would go with ITR or CTRs they will yield higher compression.

 

you'll only get about 9.6 comp. with that, as sayd above go for something more radical

 

I agree. Dont waste the time and money, get the itr or ctr pistons. Spend the money on the vtec head.

 

You have to run GSR rods, or modify the LS rods for it to work.

 

i got ls crower rods and arias gsr pistons low compression. had a vtec head on it but floated a valve so now i am trying to run my car with the stock head. i have boost

 

Your very right about this... Its been a little while since I built this combo.
Its very easy to have your LS rods modded to accept the GSR, ITR, CTR pistons.
Have a local machine shop mill 1mm per side of off the small ends of the rods and your done.
