gsr pistons in a ls block?
i got a ls vtec that i want to put gsr piston in. what i need to know is what compression i will have and do i use the ls rods? do i need a thicker head gasket and is this a good set up.
dont bother with GS-R pistons...........the compression ratio wont be high enough to justify the cost of parts and labour............get a set of B16 pistons and you will be happy............
if your gonna run turbo and nitrous then you will deffinatly not want any stock honda cast pistons........your gonna have to get low compression forged aluminium pistons (JE, Weisco, SRP) and strong connecting rods (eagle, crower, carillo) to take the abuse............get ready to dish out lots of $$$ to make it all work togeather without blowing **** up........
