Fully Built: B18B VS B18C1
Just poking around for some REAL answers.
Of course there are mad rumors flying around "Lsvtec sucks, breaks after 30K ETC ETC" But I would be most of these cases were Stock Ls blocks with Vtec heads spinning them up to god knows what.
So how bout RODS and PISTONS and a full fresh rebuild With all new seals bearings ETC ETC, oh and with the OIL SQUIRTERS in the b18b. (would want to do this for peace of mind.
Im not asking witch one is better. In the end I would guess that the 2 compared fully built would probably show the same realiablity?
What do you guys think? Thanks.

in my opinion the reliability is all in the build if it is built by someone who knows what they are doing and does a good job then it will be more reliable than if built by joe shmoe in his garage ...
Well I would be doing most of the build, along with my Friend who has built plenty of motors, import and domestic, Im sure we can do a very good build. We have built a few N/A hondas that put nice numbers down.

B18C well rev higher and make more power after 8K...B18B have a little better lower end but after 8K power drops like a rock!
