Fuel pump problem
Fuel pump will not prime when I turn it to the on position. I checked the main relay in my other civic and it works perfect. If I attach a jumper in the main relay plug the fuel pump does turn on. So to keep a short story short, the car just turns over but it won't start. The fuel pump won't turn on with the relay plugged in but it will turn on if I run a jumper in the plug. I'm buying a new pump but if anybody has any info on this problem...please share.
I'm pretty sure the pump is bad. All the connections are good so I'm assuming it's the pump and I'm picking one up soon here.
Hopefully that will be the end of the gremlins.

It seems to me that the pump works fine. If you power it with a jumper and it works, whats the problem. Maybe the relay is old and going bad. you should try the one from the other car in this one. Better yet, test for power at the relay and at the pump with the key on.
Its probably your relay. The solder joints tend to form small cracks and that keeps the relay from powering the fuel pump. I had that exact problem. I removed the relay from the car and took it to my work bench. Then I snapped off the plastic cover. With the cover removed I could see the solder joints. I almost missed it, but when I looked really close, I could see very fine cracks in the solder of several conections. I just simply resoldered the connections and it worked fine ever since.
I would check that first since its free before you spend $$ on a fuel pump that may not solve your problem.
