fuel pump not turning on?
My fuel pump isn't turning on. I used a voltmeter to check voltage at end of connection and their is some. And I even put in a different fuel pump and still nothing. Anyone have any ideas that could help me out? Thanks

Re: fuel pump not turning on?
well, fuel pumps are just on or off, so, it its getting atleast 12v everything is good until that point. the different pump you tryed, was it known to be working or did you pull it form a "pick-n-pull" yard?

All the suggestions make no sense, he is obviously getting power at the pump, meaning the main relay is working. 12 volts is plenty enough as well as 13 volts that your getting.
ARE you not aboe to start your car? does it sputter on acceleration? CAn you hear the pump prime when you switch the key to the on position.

Re: fuel pump not turning on?
pull the pump back out (actually i would test the old one too) get some random peices of with and just touch them to the post of the battery and see if the pump turns on... do not do it more than an instant, you will blow a pump by running it not pumping anything

Re: fuel pump not turning on?
This may seem really simple, and i am NOT a mechanic-type at all.
I am not even sure if hondas have this feature, but..... (cheap easy try)
Disconnect your battery for 30 seconds. then try.
There is a safety feature/anti theft thingy where it will shut off your fuel pump. You can take the car to a dealer and have them reset it (costs an assload) or simply try the battery trick.
**agian, i am not a mechanic and do not know if this is a hidden feature on Hondas. it is on 2000 saturns and mid 90's buick boats.***
