fuel pressure regulator.. how do you adjust?

fuel pressure regulator.. how do you adjust?

I have a BnM fpr... its the purple one with no gauge. Anyway do you loosen the **** (turn counter clockwise) to lower pressure and turn clockwise.. or tighten to raise pressure?

counter clockwise = less pressure
clockwise = more pressure

I think i'm running a bit rich.. do you think a fpr alone could lean out the fuel?

Yes, but without a gauge you have no way of knowing what your adjustments are doing. The gauges are inexpensive. Buy one and set your pressure to stock specs until you have a chance to tune it properly.
