fuel pressure at 65

Default fuel pressure at 65

is at 65 no matter how low i turn the regulater down to as soon as i start it it goes to 65 psi then shuts off. if it runs for like 20 sec i try to give it gas then it boggs out and dies. does anybody have suggestions let me know i wanna drive my car again, thanks

car is a 96 civic hb wit a 95 ls motor, 97 ls computer 97 ex injectors
ps: checkd cam timing 4 times and its on the money, i was told that the injectors were to small

i belive ex injectors and ls injectors are both 240cc but some say its 180cc (so im not sure). But you can try buying ls seals and putting them on the ex injectors. Also what fuel pressure guage do you have? Try switching it out and see if the fp guage is faulty. and also did you twist the bolt back in place after lowering the fuel pressure, because you might have lowered it too much without knowing the actual fuel psi.

You need to drill out the regulator with a .035 size drill bit, Im not positive on the size but you can find out exactly what you need to do @ http://www.theoldone.com/articles/regulator/ theres a walkthrough on their web page, this will allow you to adjust your fuel pressure and get your car running properly again. Almost all Hondas are 240cc injectors, with a few exceptions.
