Default Frankenstein Engine - VTEC solenoid

I have a frankenstien engine (CRV block with a Type-R head) installed in a 2001 Integra. The engine is gettting fuel cut-off at about 5000 rpm. I have been told that the VTEC solenoid is not plugged in because the wiring harness is missing this wire. I am looking for a way to 'hot wire' the VTEC solenoid.

Any twelve volts source will open the vtec solenoid, however you still need to find out why your fuel is getting cut. "Hot wiring" vtec will do nothing but open the solenoid. Are you getting codes?
