you're gonna need forged rods as well. depending on the current condition of your sleeves, you may or may not need a slight overbore.

either way, you need to set up the piston to wall clearances to what the wiseco spec sheet calls for.

Then why are you buying pistons? The rods is what breaks and destroys your block. You should just run stock

The stock rods are fine for most low hp builds, especially for moderate rpm.The stock cast pistons fail before the rods on a regular basis (ringlands).Wiseco pistons are fine on stock rods.A machine shop will need to swap them on the rods for you because they are press fitted to the rods.Standard pistons will fit the block if the bores are good enough not to need an overbore.

thanks for info njin buildr. thats what i was thinking, basicly i have all these parts and wanted to do something with it.i had a gsr block with 30k miles on it, head and supercharger, just parts that ive collected. i no that the pistons are the weak link like u said, so i am going to buy the wiscos, and i wasent sure about the rods. like i said befor im only going to run 11bls and no future upgrades.
