Default A few lsd questions.......

First so this thing doesn't get locked for being stupid, someome tell me what this lsd is.

JDM Civic-R EK9 Torsen LSD

Thats my main question, next will this type of lsd work in my 95 gsr transmission without changing gears? I can get one of these for around $350.

Looking for lsd for in my tranny if anyone has one they want to sell......

Torsen just means the style of LSD it is, which is probably meaning gear driven since there is one with clutch plates. you can use a CTR lsd in your GSR tranny as long as you use your gears from your GSR diff.

ok thanks, I was wondering what torsen was meaning but yes the one i'm looking at is gear driven, no clutches.

So in theory this will go right into my gsr tranny provided i keep the stock gsr final drive gears.

any pros and cons of gear vs. clutch?

gears dont wear out like the clutch ones but i believe the clutch ones just have like a faster reaction point thats about it.
