Breaking in a LSD

My buddy just installed his Quaife LSD on his gsr tranny-- i remember reading somewhere that you have to do figure 8's for a long time while slipping the clutch, is this correct?

not that one. only clutch LSD

Just to confirm... there is no break-in needed with a Quaife.
