Ive been having idle problems.... i went to check my fitv..... and all the symptoms were there..... but when i took it off everthing looked fine... inside of the fitv.... as far as i could tell anyway..... but when i cover up the whole in my throtle body... that goes to my fitv.... the idle goes down to normal.... i dont get it.... do i need a whole new fitv or what......

 

Nevermind, it was the fast idle thermo valve.... I took it off again... and realized i could screw that thing in more.... once i pushed down the metel peice in the middle... Im a dumb@ss but anyway.... Thanks for whoever wrote that article on fitv.. That helped out alot.... For the first time Ive fixed my car without having to shell out alot of money.... Lol.... Feels good.... Thanx again!
