FAILED EMISSION TESTS !HELP! Emission Experts
Well i have a 92 civic cx hatch with stock motor and 170 k miles on it. One problem i have been having recently is burning oil. I took it in for the test with some oil and failed Hydrocarbons and Carbon Monoxide.
Standards: .80 15.0
Readings: 3.40 60.7
What do i need to do other than a tune up? Any additives that help? thanks in advance.

I'm pretty sure you failed a Gross polluter.
I'm about 90% sure you need your oxygen sensor replaced.. then get some Oil additive or use 20w50. If those don't work, probably gotta replace the cat.

theres a fuel additive called seafoam you can pick up at a local auto parts store. I would try that before dumping too much cash in

I think Spade probably explained the emission's test the best: https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=701236 also has a nice chart for you to help figure the possible problem with the engine.
