Your freind is a moron. Like KaMin said, they might not sure cover it completely if you **** it up. You could always do what my freind did. With progressive, and I am sure with other insurance companies, there was a section that asked what is the total value of aftermarket parts that you want insured. He put like 7000g's or something like that.
